What We Can Do

As a landowner with renewable energy development on your land, we can offer you the opportunity to raise capital from the lease of the energy development. This gives you the opportunity to reinvest in your business, buy additional land or any other plans that require a capital sum. Please note, when capitalising a lease, we do not buy land – your land is a valuable, consistently appreciating asset which can be used by future generations as a source of income and labour.

How Does It Work?

In order to receive a cash lump sum, we require that you grant a head lease on the land that was leased to the renewable energy tenant. This enables us to receive your base rent from the site.

In return, we pay you a capital lump sum. The exact amount payable depends on the rent you currently receive, the number of years remaining on the lease and the terms and conditions of your lease agreement.

  • Remove the risk of the tenant breaking the lease, defaulting or government intervention

Who Can Apply?

Anybody with renewable energy development on their land. This can be from Solar, Wind, Anaerobic Digestion, Biogas or Hydro. When capitalising your lease, the minimum annual income we require to be capitalised is £20,000.
